There was some welding in the center dif. I didn't do it myself. I wouldn't go that direction, because there is a lot of drivetrain noise. If you wanted a rear wheel drive impreza, I'd do a drivetrain swap to a wrx or sti. I believe there are difs that you can by to convert it.
How did you get it to be rear wheel drive?
