it's an "ok" tank, but a far cry from the "best AFRICAN CICHLID SHOW TANK on youtube". Looks so unnatural with the manmade fish motel. Pile the rocks, not stacked. Ditch the blue background and opt for a black one. Take out the fake plants or get real ones. Then post another video. By the way, the water clarity is magnificant and the fish are beautiful

where did you get the flat rocks from?

WHAT? Frontosa? Agressive??? Have you ever owned one, I suspect not! Frontosas ARE African Cichlids anyway. There are good reasons for not mixing Fronts with Malawis, that is because of the different diets, and the placid nature of the Frontosa, whilst many Malawis are territorial and aggressive.

i woulnt take the chance frontosa are bigger and more aggresive then african

i wouldnt recomend it because frontosa are more aggresive then african and frontosa grow bigger so dont take the chance

those juvi fronts are really struggling to get food in there.

Lower the temp.

do u breed?

feed what they can eat in 15 seconds 5 times daily, lower the temp of the tank down(be careful not to lower it too cold), overcrowd the tank (make sure you have more then the usual filtration if you do that)

Also try slightly overstocking. Overstocking a malawi tank helps reduce aggression as it spreads the aggression out over the community rather then a few specific fish.

all u have to do is every now and again move your rocks or decor so if a fish is claiming a certain spot it make the spot fre for the taken
