i didn't discover elliott untill long after he was gone. To bad

i wish i was into him when i was eleven so i could have gone to see him live. his songs give me goosebumps

You can just tell by his voice and the way he is singing, he is so unhappy. I wish there was a way people could have shown him how much he meant to so many people, and help him happier.

It's painful, but in some weird demension, beautiful at the same time. I miss you Elliott, I miss you alot.

He's the most beautiful person ever. It breaks my heart to hear his story. He deserves to be happy, and I just hope wherever he is, he'll be okay.

We need to hear more about the "defensive wounds. It always seemed odd to me that Elliott wouldn't be able to defend himself from a stabbing attempt from the front.

yeah, we (his fans) have heard/read about that many times. As far as I know though, in his passport his name was Steven Paul Smith, so basically he could've spelt his nickname either way.

We always seem to loose the extra special ones very early...

LA investigators probing stabbing death of Elliott Smith didn't classify it as suicide, because several aspects were not consistent w/suicide and "raise the possibility of homicide." According to autopsy rpt police discovered what appeared to be a suicide note ("I'm so sorry-love, Elliot God forgive me") but Smith's first name was misspelled. Autopsy report cited the absence of hesitation wounds, the presence of "possible defensive wounds," and "stabbing through clothing" as atypical of suicide.

why did he kill himself...its sad.
