dontr you hate that voice telling you to not sink not make sence..i was about to land and he was all like pull up..ande i yelled ITS CALLED LANDING!!!!!!!!!

Don't worry about the landing speed. MBFilmer is right. Knowing more about the 747 than any other aircraft, I know you have to take into account Fuel, Cargo and Passenger Weight, Winds etc. Its also hard with the 747 to know when the wheels have touched down becuase its so tall. The landing speed of a fully loaded 747 would easily be 160 - 175. At the end of the day, any landing you can walk away from is a good landing.

I know I wasn't breaking 155 because I save all my original videos on an external hard drive and I checked and I was flying at 147 knots with a 8-36 knot headwind... :)

If you look closely you can see there is a strong headwind and as I flared 5 degrees the wind simply floated the aircraft down the runway... :)

why did you wait for 10 seconds to touchdown? waiting isnt way to land softly :)

are you sure? its not fixed, its about fuel, passengers, cargo, weather, flaps, runway lenght etc... you cant say 3 numbers and thats it

yes at my airport it built on the water with rocks and stuff so it has to be reinforced and yes it is for stopping calculations

That is true at some airports. At my local airport the piano keys are there for a duel role. First, for the weight restrictions for some aicraft and second for stopping calculations...

thos arent there for you to land in time. Those are the reinforced parts of the runway so the plane can land. Because, if there wasn't that the plane would sink into the runway in reality

Yeah, in general that is true...but in all reality if you land between any of the white bars you should be able to stop in time... Good Question!!! :)

That was a smooth landing but not a safe one at all, floated way past the touchdown area.
