Fix an xbox 360 with Red Ring Of Death PART 1

What i dont get is how people are convinced that Microsoft is coming out with newer better models that are "designed not to have red ring of death" i used to think this and all i can say is everyone is vulnerable to it. no matter what microsoft does to try to make it better there will always be flaws. Ps3 has flaws too. in fact, they have a yellow light of death, and with that, if you have a disk in the drive, its stuck! its not coming out! your screwed. there arent consoles that cant break

they don't replace it...you send it in they fix it and send it back....if they can't fix it they send it back

why the hell do this microsoft will replace it for free if it is red ring of death.

I NEED HELP!!! i did all this exactly the way he showed. i turned on the xbox to let it overheat but the heat sinks wont overheat. i dont even have the fan or vacuum hooked up. PLZ HELP ME!!!!

This doesn't look like a fix at all. How can reapplying thermal paste to a heatsink fix broken solder points? Is the purpose of the longer heatsink screws and the use of washers to allow for more tolerance to a difference in thermal expansion between the heatsink and the motherboard? If this does work I cannot imagine it being a permanent fix.

Guys! I think I know how to fix it okay :] My xbox keeps getting it over and over again, and these couple of things work: 1 Unplug the power lead to the power box and blow into it, put it back in. or.. put your xbox plug into a different socket or.. unplug all leads going into the xbox, and the plug, put them back in after 10 minutes and try again. or.. leave your xbox for about a day hope this helps! sorry if it doesn't, but it has worked for me okay guys :} x

well theres many people on craigslist that fix them for very cheap so if u dont know how to dissassemble it or dont want to then look for a few people on craigslist they do this same thing but it saves u the trouble of doing it or paying like 200 bucks to get it fixed.....only cost me 50 bucks....(srry to spam)

today my xbox got the one ring in the 4th quadrant and i called costomer support and they said it was a system failure. basically saying that the fucker is fucked. so i had to get a repair order. does anyone know how long it takes to get your xbox back? message if so. thanks.
