I've double checked and I've triple checked....I CANNOT FIND ANYTHING WRONG WITH THIS SONG....NOT ONE NOTE... DAMN...COULD THIS BE THE GREATEST SONG EVER WRITTEN??? I don't know...I'm not a critic....but the minute I heard the opening notes I felt something. Emotional? Spiritual? It gives me hope for music again. Man I dig this tune.

I'm listening for about fourty years to popmusic. And sometimes, not that much at, it happens. Suddenly appears a song on the radio that just blows you off your feet. The Fleet Foxes did it. Time stood still when I first heard 'He Doesn't know why'. And yeah, one can refer to a lot of influences. The Brian Wilson harmonies, the looks of The Band. My oldest son says they sound like the Beatles. Doesn't matter. This is great Americana. This is already a classic piece in the American sea of tunes
