If you disapoint them in such a way they would most likely batter you hard. Even killing is not impossible, since you're there on your own will, and you're a foreigner there's no problem for them to erase you silently if wished.

No shit sherlock. There's alot of people there who joined just 'cause they were sick/tired on their old lives. Needs no Albert Einstein to, before even joining, to understand that there will be one big mixture of different people there. Not necesarily for a bad 'cause either...

A m8 of me was in the Foreign Legion for 4 weeks and he told me that its full of Russians and other scum.

Disobedience to any order can result in harsh treatment. One vet who was in the 2regiment warned you followed orders because you can disappear on deployment. At the very least your get thrown in the hole, beat up or both.

Ive been thinking about joining the legion but i really dont know if i could live through it. The legion has always had a huge desertion problem but they say they have a zero drug tolerance. So in theory if you wanted to get out you could just go the road and do speed balls and theyde kick you out right?

Don't mind the brasilians..they are full of shit. First it's true that legionaires haven't reached the 3rd level of the GIGS course..and you Know why? Because it's off limits to foreign nationals. It's only alowed to brazilian military. Legionaires and soldiers from other countries have concluded sucessfully that course. Second..the GIGS course is hard indeed but the real true is that the brazilian army has never conducted a war in the jungle..so..you talk the talk..but do you walk the walk?

v=ON0PF_QxPgY 1st lvl is SURVIVAL IN JUNGLE 2nd is TECHNIQUES and start at 03:00, the guys are carrying the soldier for 30miles in the closed jungle and the temperature is 104 F. 3rd lvl is OPERATION in the jungle, where they simulate combat... starts at 06:00.. its the operation in case the borders are invaded
