actually it goes like this: lungfishes, reptiles(such as hylonomus), synapsids(mammal-like reptiles like pelycosaurs), therapsida(like gorgonopsids), cynodonts, monkeys, austrolopithecus, homo erectus, homo ergaster, homo rhodensis and homo sapiens.

But we are from the same class so share a common ancestor with them. Same goes for monkies and apes. We didn't evolve from them.
