"Soring" walkers or "Fixin" them is not done with ropes. It is usuallydone with chemical components (many different 'recipes') and plastic wrap. (Not advocating this, before folks get upset. It is horrid and good they are cracking down on it.) I'm not sure what you are talking about with the ropes though. Maybe they are hurting them but it is hard to tell. I think it is more likely that you are seeing some rather extreme movements and making some pretty colossal assumptions.

Try and understand their culture. All youu see in this video is ropes under a horse's legs and you accuse them of animal abuse. Take your hatred to the rodeos in USA. Or the horse slaughter houses. Heck protest against horse jumping! The way you entertain people is by making horses jump stupidly high hurdles often leading to the horse's injury or sometimes even death. Complain against horse racing. But for heaven's sakes i see no abuse in this video.

Straps on hind legs are called GHUNGROO and its a cluster of small bells to make sound, its even worn by lady dancers in subcontinent ,and its very lose and it has nothing to do with soring technique used in TWH.plus even in TWH soring/heavy shoes were used for front legs to give then artificial lift, these horses have natural high knee action but not dancing ability.

Look at the Lipizzaners from the school in Vienna to see what real training is.

i hate to be the bitch, but those straps you see on their hind legs are devices used in what's called "soring" it's a technique used in gaited horses to make them lift their legs higher, in order to reach desired extension of the gait. this is illegal now in the usa [i should know, i have a walking horse] and to many americans could be considered abuse. note, i'm not saying this is abuse in the country which this was performed, but it is in the usa.

Some of you are ignorant. These horses are not being "tortured". They have been trained to "dance". There are no pins around their legs or else they wouldn't stop and stand. Have you never watched dressage or the Lipizzaners?? Do you think all of their training was done without some type of reinforcement? These horses are in great flesh. I am sure they are their owners pride. I have seen my share of cruelty cases with horses. I would not categorize this in the cruelty department.

Thanks god someone with some sence this is not natural movements for any horse Have my own horse and work with them everyday never once have i ever seen a horse do movements like these its wrong is a bear riding a bike good is a lion jumping through hoops in a tu tu god No its not natural the horse is not enjoying that at all
