Dude, Greg Laswell has been around since 98'. He's not ripping off coldplay. There are similar elements in this particular song and some of coldplay's old music, but everything has elements of everything now-a-days. And on a further note, coldplay wasn't the first band to come out with that "sound" either. Listen to radiohead, travis, u2, etc. Don't get me wrong, I like both coldplay and greg laswell, and radiohead, etc. But they are different bands with similar styles.

normally i wouldn't reply right away but i think i'm being misunderstood. (like you care). rhythmic piano-riff-driven, mid-tempo anthem rock under a lazy-sounding melodic vocal is coldplay's forte. this is very similar to coldplay's first album, parachutes. i reviewed it when i used to be a contributor for Tracer magazine (when i was in high school no less). besides, is this band offering up a unique sound that hasn't been done before? hardly. "tosspot" made me lol though.

Once again, your wrong, maybe you should learn more before you comment on aything. Suits are fashionable, many bands wear them, the dance moves are less fluid than ok gos and slow deliberate dance has been employed by other people before
