If the hood had been open..i'd say the guy with the little dry chem might have stood a chance but to much fire that was unreachable..Deffinetly in the wrong position for innital attack...would have been interesting to see a piercing nozzle applied!

Well thats just one mans opinion, fortunatly not everone elses. they got there, didnt kill theselves for a looser, they put fire out, wore proper PPE, nice placement of the Engine and they all went home. Now jeffcitypup you go home and play with your toy fire engines and quit knocking what you don't understand.

Well. first off slow hose advancement the firefighters dismount at 3:46 the tape is skipped but no water on the fire for at least 3min reguardless if it was a car fire it is no excuse to take your time. Horriable approach the fire started in the engine compartment work from the rear to the front. the back hatch was already open. never approach from the front always from the side... Basic tactics guys...

My mom had a '96 model Blazer, and lucky for her, she had traded it on a new 2003 Dodge Neon (back in 2003 of course) and only to find out that the person who bought her Blazer, was a long distance cousin of hers, and it had caught on fire and set her house on fire. Her house didn't burn all the way down, but half of it did. GM didn't care either! lol She sued them, and won. But she still decided not to take a new vehicle from them that they were offering her.

your retarted is is a sm20 fog nozzle attached to 100 ft of 1.75 inch rubber jacketed hose (trash line)with a foam aspirator on it, so if u knew anything about anything you would realzie that even if you put the nozzle in fog position it still looks like a straight stream, this is to aspirate air into the stream to make the faom more effictive.

1 lane was shut down..in the video you dont see the flares being put out behind the dashcam to close 1 lane. i do thank you for noticing the dangers! you are correct it was not the safest situtation to be filming. Thanks for commenting

They could have had that car out in one minute after the first in engine. Pull the speed lay and power cone the nozzle. The FF is hitting it with a straight stream. Rooooooookie.

What an idiot. Trying to put out an almost fully involved car fire with no protective gear and a tiny extinguisher. Next time you decide to show off for the camera, do us all a favor and dont bother jackass.

the hell it was.. roadway was still open @00:56 you are running in the # 2 lane..@ 01:03 (15:22.31 on you stringer dash-cam) there is a SUV going past you..don't say it was closed.. along with 8 cars and 4 big rigs.. Yes. I counted.. just letting you know man, I am just concerned for you saftey. vid like this is not worth it.. if you want to take extreme vids.. consider a ride-a-long w/ the local police dept.. I am n ot trying to take you liveley hood (sp)from you.. just trying to keep you safe

I don't get it?? when you first get out there, you are running in the #2 lane with your back to traffic?... people aren't going to be looking out for you.. they are going to be looking at this fire.. your life is more important..
