Video Comments ![]() Ja! Ja! Dat is muziek, dat is muziek! ![]() WHAT A BAND ![]() Didn't a horn player work with Ry on writing and composing this? Not sure if he's onstage during this performance, but I saw him elsewhere on Youtube with Little Feat, I think it was. ![]() REALY GREATTTTT THANKS ![]() 4 trivia buffs, Bob till you drop was the first digital recorded album ![]() Bop till you drop is fantastic. I still listen to it regularly. I was lucky enough to catch Ry on tour with this same line up and it is on my top 10 best shows for sure. Such great group of players. ![]() Awesome stuff. I've this on vinyl in the basement, have to find it on CD now!!!
Love Ry's voice and his sense of "band" ![]() I love Ry cooder and all, but wow does this music suck.. ![]() Even if it sound like the Dead, think Ry and company are not the ones who cover.....they are just great musicians.... ![]() Song is from "Bop Till You Drop", first digitally mastered vinyl. Chaka Khan on vocals on album. This song has NOTHING to do with the dead, thank god. Dude must have worked at the Catalyst. Thanks so much for these of Ry. He is a living legend. What a funky, funky live performance. Thanks again. ![]() i can see a SLIGHT resemblence between this and shakedown street, but other than that it's alot different, and i'm a dead-head. ![]() I was at both shows at Bimbos in SF during this tour! Best live show I've ever seen, and I've seen (and played) a lot. I recorded the show on a funky pocket tape player. Fuzzy recording, but it's priceless: this is possibly the best rock/pop/soul music ever. ![]() "Nice and all. But does it not sound like a rip off of Grateful Deads "Shakedown Street". Same rythms, same call-and-response same harmonics. This is not as good as Shakedown Street, though."
You must be joking. ![]() Nice and all. But does it not sound like a rip off of Grateful Deads "Shakedown Street". Same rythms, same call-and-response same harmonics. This is not as good as Shakedown Street, though. ![]() Is there a white with as much funk as Jim keltner??!? I doubt it, my favourite! ![]() Hey....me too. ![]() I saw this band at the Cotati Cabaret during this tour. Best show I ever saw at the Cotati Cabaret and I saw a ton of great bands there. I can't believe I'm lucky enough to see this all these years later. Many thanks. Ry is my all time favorite guitarist. Before that show Van Dyke Parks confirmed a rumor I'd heard that Little Feat was reforming. And I can still feel my shirt vibrating from Willie Greene's low tones. ![]() One of the true genius of the last 40 years, no one can make a groovy number like this one ! What an amazing lineup in this concert :o) ![]() OOOOOoooooo yea! ![]() 38 +/- years ago I had an album with this and 7-8 more Ry Cooder songs... it got lost along the way... Thanks bro... ![]() What a treat!! Thanks! ![]() DA Best !!!! |
