The worst thing about Killa cycle is Bill Dube, get rid of him and get more e bikes racing, he is not a good rep for this tech. The rider is top notch. And when he crashed it on the street, no gloves no leather no helmet, just cause its quite dont mean there aint alot of potential energy there.

Not quite true about the horespower. DC brushed motors make maximum horsepower at 50% efficiency IF the power supply could supply the power and the motor not go up in smoke. Generally though motors are not rated at peak power, but at what the motor can produce continuously for 24/7 with no adverse effect on the enamel coating of the conductors. This allows a reliability margin so that the motor lasts many years.

In the RC world you guys think brushless is new technology because you all only seen brushed permanent magnet motors in your hobby. In the industrial world we used AC induction motors (which is brushless btw) for constant speed applications and DC brushed pure electromagnet based motors when torque and speed control were required well beyond your time and mine. The old tech guys know what I mean. In the 80's vector control of 3-phase AC motors made it possible to compete against DC drives.

It is because electric motors put out full horsepower no matter what rpm they are putting out.(well, except 0 rpm, lol) not saying you are wrong because i don't know if you are but I am saying that it helps a lot that they put out full power no matter the rpm...

Just curious...why aren't you using brushless motors? In my experience with remote controled cars BL motors are far superior to brushed due to efficiency and power/speed but this is a much larger scale than rc cars so I didn't know if there was a certain reason you were using brushed motors.

JUKI001 Just don't get too comfortable with motorcycles, its mostly the good riders that get into accidents because they take their skills too far. Anyways, this bike proves that all electric vehicles will one day be faster then fossils fueled vihicles.

this is only possible in electric motors because there is so few moving parts, that the rpm is there almost immediately.
