Her television network movies Games Mother Never Taught You, Having It All, Secrets of a Married Man and Forbidden Nights won awards for their non-stereotypical portrayals of women and minorities. Her bestseller Your Life as Story applied what she learned about story structure from screenwriting to help others see and write the narratives in their lives.
